Taylor Swift’s father reportedly punched a member of the paparazzi while out in Australia early Tuesday morning.
The megastar’s father Scott Swift has been accused of assaulting a photographer as the ‘All Too Well’ singer stepped off a yacht at Sydney’s ferry pier. News.com.au reported.
Local police have not confirmed that it was the singer’s father, but a NSW Police spokesperson said the 71-year-old man was killed at Neutral Bay Wharf at around 2.30am. is suspected of assaulting a 51-year-old man. Exit.
Police added that the alleged victim who reported the incident did not require medical treatment.
Ben MacDonald, of Matrix Media Group, told the Sunday Morning Herald he was left with a “sore left chop” after the altercation, but no serious injuries.
“I was just following Taylor to work,” he told the newspaper.
“She disembarked from the superyacht in Neutral Bay and walked to the pier with an umbrella over her head and several security guards.” [guards] around her. It was like the security guards were pushing us around with umbrellas. So her father decided to add an extra punch. ”
The cameraman said he could not understand what prompted the alleged violent assault.

The pop star reportedly fled Australia on a private jet after the incident. Daily Mail reported.
The newspaper said her plane was seen leaving Sydney Airport several hours after the altercation.
