'Taylor Swift's podcast 'New Heights' is back just hours after the technical issue'

The much-anticipated episode of the “New Heights” podcast featuring Taylor Swift resumed late Wednesday night following a glitch that interrupted its live YouTube premiere.

More than 14 Grammy winners conversed about their upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which is set to debut on October 3rd. This discussion attracted over 14 million viewers.

The show returned at 12:37 AM on August 14th after a post on the podcast’s X account announced, “We’re back!!!” Swift expressed her excitement during the event.

When the episode was interrupted, the podcast account tweeted, “I’ll hit the glitch, but I’ll be back soon!!!”

“Massive thanks to 92% of everyone who helped me break the internet,” the account added.

Caitlyn Clark, the Heat superstar, acknowledged Swift’s star power and voiced her concern about a potential earlier crash.

“Are you sure YouTube won’t crash tonight?” Clark posted on X on Wednesday afternoon.

Before the glitch occurred, Swift unveiled the album cover for “Showgirl Life” and shared details about the tracklist.

Her boyfriend, Travis Kelsey, chimed in with insights about the album, mentioning it contrasted with her previous release, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which came out last April.

“Life is brighter,” Swift remarked with a smile directed toward the three-time Super Bowl champion.

Swift described the album cover of “The Life of A Showgirl” as a whimsical image of her in a bathtub adorned with a stage dress. This representation reflects the intense nature of her performances, particularly following her lengthy ERAS tour set.

“My tours follow the same routine every day…and my evening concludes with me in the tub. I wanted to capture the different facets of how that tour felt; it encapsulates the end of a long night,” Swift explained.

“The main album cover isn’t about the on-stage experience; it’s more about the behind-the-scenes reality of what occurs there,” she noted.

Swift also mentioned working on a European album during the previous summer, concluding her performances in Canada last December.
