A former Tennessee teacher learned his fate this week when he was found guilty of 11 felony counts of child sexual abuse against five minors. Additionally, the defendant gave birth to a baby, fathered by one of the victims, who was only 12 years old.
WREG-TV Alyssa McConmon, who taught fourth grade, reportedly pleaded guilty to one count of rape of a child, two counts of statutory rape by a person of authority, three counts of aggravated statutory rape, and three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means. did. On Friday, Circuit Court Judge Blake Neal sentenced McConmon to 25 years in prison without the possibility of parole. Neal ordered the sentences to run concurrently.
McCommon was ordered to have no contact with the victims, was placed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry as a violent sex offender, and must undergo lifelong community supervision.
McCommon also had his teaching license revoked due to his sexual assault conviction.

Prosecutors say McCommon called one of his victims, a 12-year-old boy, nearly 200 times and sent illicit photos on Snapchat.
DNA tests reportedly confirmed that McCommon was pregnant by the 12-year-old victim.
A judge last week ordered McConmon “to have no contact with young children.”
She allegedly threatened to commit suicide if the boy ended his relationship with her.
According to WATN-TVDetectives said they identified 21 potential victims, ranging in age from 12 to 17, during a seven-month investigation. Five victims testified against the former teacher.
McCommon is said to have become friends with one of the children's mothers.
