Teddi Mellencamp has “taken accountability” for her role in the divorce after announcing her divorce from Edwin Arroyave.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum admitted that she “cried and mourned” and “apologized” for any wrongdoing after her affair with her married trainer was revealed.
“Only you can change your life. We have two choices: play the victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all need peace and You deserve happiness,” Mellencamp posted. in instagram video A picture of myself working out on Sunday.
“I cried and grieved. I took responsibility and apologized for what I did wrong. Now I gave myself permission to grow and thrive.”
The 43-year-old reality star also explained why she chose to remain silent amid speculation about the breakup of her marriage.
“I decided to not pander to the media and tell my side of the story because in the grand scheme of things, [clickbait] Of course, there are three sides to every story,” she added.

Earlier this month, a person with direct knowledge of the matter told Page Six that Mellencamp had been having an affair with a married friend.
The mother of three is said to have appeared in front of Arroyave, 47, multiple times since May.
Page Six identified the man with whom Mellencamp allegedly had an affair as trainer Simon Schroeder. His then-wife turned out to be Carly Postel.
After Mellencamp's allegations of infidelity became public, people with direct knowledge of her told Page Six that Arroyave had verbally abused his wife in 2015.
One source claimed he had been having an affair with a woman named Missy for “at least a year,” while another claimed it was closer to “six months.”
Mellencamp announced on Instagram on November 2 that she was filing for divorce from her estranged husband.
“After much consideration and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” she said in a statement.
“My priority is my children and ensuring that their privacy and well-being are respected throughout this new chapter.”
The ex-girlfriend, who married in 2011, has three children, son Cruise and daughters Slate and Dove.
