Fall City, Wash. — Law enforcement officials found five people dead and a teenage boy in custody after a shooting inside a southeast Seattle home Monday morning, police said.
King County Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Mellis said at a news conference Monday afternoon that several people called 911 around 5 a.m. to report a shooting in Fall City, Washington.
Upon arrival, deputies immediately took one teen into custody, and another injured teen was taken to a Seattle hospital, Mellis said. Mellis said the two teens live in the home.
When police entered the house, they found five bodies. Two were adults and three were young teenagers, Melis said. The name has not been released yet.
“Once the body was found, it was clear that this was a very serious crime scene,” he said.
Mellis added that it appears there is a family member involved in the shooting, but it is not yet known how the family is involved. He also said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
“There is no reason to believe there will be any additional arrests,” he said.
The juvenile in custody was being held at the King County Juvenile Hall, Mellis said. A spokeswoman for the county Prosecuting Attorney's Office said in an email that the boy will appear in his first court appearance on Tuesday or Wednesday.
neighbor told KING-TV A couple and their five children lived in the house.

“I'm in complete shock and tears continue to flow,” Lynn Trowane told the news outlet.
King County Councilwoman Sarah Perry said in an emailed statement Monday night that seven members of the family were involved in the shooting.
Sheriff Patricia Cole-Tindall told KING-TV that she was “very sad and very upset” to learn of the shooting.
