Teenager allegedly killed sister over ‘simple note’ about flushing toilet

A teenage girl in the United States has been accused of stabbing her 7-year-old sister to death during an argument over “a simple note to flush the toilet.”

After a verbal disagreement, the 13-year-old waited for her sister to re-enter the bathroom and used a butcher knife and a hunting knife to stab her in the neck, abdomen and head “more than 10 times,” police said. announced.

The girl then called her father, who then called emergency services and told them she had stabbed her brother.

“She was very calm and didn't show any emotion,” Detective Digicomo said.

The 7-year-old girl was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the sisters' identities.

The 13-year-old boy faces multiple charges including first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder and first-degree child abuse, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutor Kim Worthy told FOX 2 that her sister will not be tried as an adult and will be held in a juvenile detention facility.

“Given her young age, the state will have seven years to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate her before her mandatory release at age 21,” she said.

Detective Digicomo said the girl's parents were particularly shocked by the incident because their eldest daughter had never been in trouble at home or at school.

The incident shocked the family's neighbors, one of whom, Julie Pagoto, told local network WXYZ that her sister was “the sweetest girl.”
