Telegram co-founder Pavel Durov was seen in an amateur video being released from custody after being indicted in a French court on Wednesday following his arrest over the weekend.
The 34-second video shows the Russian-born billionaire quickly emerging from the heavily secured facility wearing sunglasses, a black baseball cap and all-black clothing. Video posted on X On Thursday.
The caption on X's post, written in Hungarian, translates to “He just left the court. We baseball fans unite!”
Durov was then hurried to a waiting black SUV surrounded by heavy-duty security guards before fleeing, the video shows.

Authorities said Durov was charged with helping to spread crimes, including child sexual abuse, drug trafficking and fraud, on the popular messaging app.
He was released on $5.6 million bail and ordered to remain in France while authorities continue their investigation.
