Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke Credits Psalm 91 after Gunman Opens Fire on His Home

Tennessee pastor Greg Locke credits God for keeping him and his family safe after a gunman fired dozens of bullets into his home, blowing holes throughout the property, including his daughter's bedroom. In a 2 a.m. post Wednesday, the pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, said the still-unidentified gunman turned his home into a “full-scale crime scene” and nearly killed his family. One of his daughters was in the home at the time.

Wilson County Police in Nashville News Channel 5 Police say they arrived at the home around 10:35 p.m. Tuesday and found gunshots all over the place. Police are investigating and say approximately 30 to 40 shots were fired.

“Security camera footage shows we were pulling into our driveway just a minute after a madman fired a full magazine of automatic rifle rounds into our house, garage and my truck,” Locke wrote on social media.

“The audio on the video is absolutely terrifying. Detectives will be here for some time tonight. Only one of the children was in the home and thankfully he was not in the same part of the house.”

Locke posted photos of the hole in his truck and one in his daughter's bedroom.

“As you can see in the last photo, one of the bullets went through the headboard of my youngest daughter's bed and lodged in her pillow,” Locke wrote. “We will all be escorted by security tonight to our hotel. I don't have any further details. What's important is that… Psalm 91 It is true. God has protected us in unimaginable supernatural ways. Please pray for the Locke family tonight. We love you all.”

This is not the first time Locke or his church have been targeted: on Easter Sunday this year, someone set ablaze a trailer packed with Bibles in front of the church at around 6 a.m.
