Tennis player Arthur Cazeau collapsed on court during a match in Miami on Monday, according to video footage of the incident.
In the third set of a Miami Open match, Cazeau was standing ready for the serve of his opponent Harold Maillot. fell to the groundTMZ Sports reported.

Paramedics quickly arrived to help, but the player ultimately had to withdraw from the remainder of the match due to an unknown illness.
Another video shows a staff member holding an umbrella trying to protect a staff member who was treating a fallen player.

The Frenchman, ranked 74th in the world, led 2-1 in the third set of Monday’s match. Maillot and Cazeau split the first two sets 6-4 and 7-5.
As of this writing, the cause of his collapse has not been announced, but Maillot, who is ranked 141st, will face David Goffin in the next round.
