All the main card competitors successfully made weight on Friday, with Kayla Harrison hitting the 135-pound mark for her title bout against champion Juliana Pena in the co-main event.
However, there was a surprising development: a reserve fighter failed to make weight by a significant margin.
Harrison, 34, achieved her target weight for the first time and appeared somewhat drained on the scale, though she seems to have replenished her energy ahead of Saturday’s title fight.
Interestingly, the first fighter to weigh in was none other than “Sugar Show” Sean O’Malley, who had faced a setback against dvalishvili in Las Vegas last October.
The only fighter who missed the weight cut was Arian da Silva (previously known as Arian Lipski), who came in an astonishing 6 pounds over.

UFC analyst and former two-division champion Daniel Cormier expressed his shock at da Silva’s weight, noting the maximum allowed was 126 pounds.
“Six pounds over? That’s not what you want to see,” he remarked during the weigh-in broadcast. “How does that happen? You can’t just show up that far off.”
Despite the weight mishap, Da Silva’s opponent, Wang Cong, indicated on social media that she would still fight, even accepting a part of Da Silva’s purse as compensation.
