Tensions Between India and Pakistan, Operation Sindoor – Images of Key Lashkar, Jaish, Hizbul Mujahideen Terrorists Killed, and Pakistani Army Officials at Their Funeral

New Delhi:

India has disclosed the names of several high-ranking Pakistani army officials who were present at the funeral of terrorists killed during Operation Sindoah. This operation, initiated on May 7, aimed to respond to recent deadly attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

Operation Sindoah involved Indian forces targeting nine locations associated with terrorism, including the Markaz Taiba facility in Malidke and the Markaz Subang Allah in Bahawalpur, linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad.

During a joint press conference on Sunday, senior military figures from the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy indicated that Abdul Rauf, an internationally designated terrorist by the U.S., led the funeral of those slain in Malidke.

The released photos aimed to illustrate the links between the Pakistani military and terrorist groups. Among the attendees were Lieutenant General Fayaz Hussein, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, and Brigadier General Maud Hurkan Shabir, photographed alongside the terrorists’ coffins adorned with the Pakistani flag.

The images further revealed Usman Anwar, a senior police official in Pakistan, and politician Malik Sohaib Ahmed participating in the proceedings.

Over 100 terrorists confirmed killed in Operation Sindoah

Indian officials stated that more than 100 terrorists lost their lives in Operation Sindoah, along with images of identified “high-value targets.”

One of the known terrorists was Khalid, alias Abu Akasha, affiliated with Rashkar-e-Taiba, noted for his role in smuggling weapons from Afghanistan to Pakistan while residing in Peshawar.

Mudassir Khadian Khas, also known as Mudassar and Abu Jundal, was a Rushkar operative managing the Muridke Terrorist Camp.

Ajmal Kasab, the only surviving terrorist from the 2008 Mumbai attacks, received training at this camp, as did David Headley, another operative involved in the same incident.

Mohammad Hassan Khan, connected to Jaish-e-Mohammad, was the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, who headed operations in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. He was active at the Syedna Bilal Terrorist Camp, alongside Mufti Asghar and Ashiq Negroo, a figure linked to the 2019 Pulwama attack.

Additionally, Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed, who were implicated in the IC-814 hijacking and the 2019 Pulwama blast, were also among the casualties of Operation Sindoah on May 7.
