Dodgers’ Teoscar Hernandez Changes Hotels Due to Haunting Rumors
Teoscar Hernandez, a player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has revealed that he and his wife will be switching their accommodation while in Milwaukee for the National League Championship Series against the Brewers. This decision isn’t due to poor hotel conditions; it’s because his wife, Jennifer, is uneasy about the spooky tales surrounding the place.
The couple initially checked into the historic Pfister Hotel, known for its alleged hauntings. Ahead of Wednesday’s second game, Hernandez mentioned their plans to find a different hotel due to these ghostly rumors. It’s by no means a unique situation; teammate Mookie Betts has also opted for an Airbnb during this series because of the same unsettling stories.
Interestingly, Hernandez noted that his wife heard about these eerie tales from other players’ partners while at the hotel, although the players themselves don’t seem to buy into the spooky stories. “I don’t believe in ghosts,” he stated, adding that he’s stayed at the Pfister before without encountering anything strange. Still, with his wife along, they had to look for alternative lodging.
He did share that he’s heard some teammates mention strange occurrences: lights flickering and odd noises coming from doors. It definitely adds to the intrigue.
Despite the supernatural distractions, Hernandez is concentrating on helping his team reclaim the World Series title. He made a notable impact during Wednesday’s game, hitting a two-run homer after the Brewers initially took the lead.
In the earlier Game 1, the Dodgers managed to hold off a late-game surge from the Brewers, which adds to the anticipation for the upcoming games. Should the Dodgers fail to take a significant lead in this best-of-seven series, the Hernandez couple might not have to return to Milwaukee.
With the next three games set to take place in Los Angeles, the Dodgers have a chance to secure the National League pennant without further travel, which could provide a bit of relief in this already eventful championship series.
