“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice’s daughter, Milania Giudice, posted a touching birthday message for her sister Gabriella. This comes a few months after Gabriella reportedly called 911 during a family conflict.
Back in May, Milania, aged 20, was arrested and charged with simple assault, stemming from a domestic dispute at her mother Teresa’s home in Montville Township, New Jersey.
Reports suggest that Gabriella, who turned 22 on Sunday, was the one who made the 911 call during the incident, indicating that Milania was behaving erratically and throwing things around.
On Sunday, it seemed that Milania was ready to move past the family issues as she celebrated Gabriella’s birthday with an emotional social media post. She wrote, “Happy birthday @gabriella.giudice 🤍 you really are the best sister I could ever ask for.” Milania added that Gabriella is “one of the smartest people” she knows and expressed pride in who her sister has become.
Milania acknowledged her own shortcomings over the years, expressing gratitude for Gabriella’s enduring support and love. She humorously referred to Gabriella as “Cinderella,” joking even about her sister’s change in hair color. “I can’t believe you’re 22 already. Time really flies. I love you so much,” she added.
The birthday post also featured nostalgic photos, including moments shared with siblings Gia, 25, and Audriana, 17, along with their parents, Teresa and Joe, who are both 54. Gabriella responded warmly in the comments, expressing her love back, while Teresa also chimed in with birthday wishes.
The Montville Township Police Department had responded to the incident in May, detaining Milania at around 6 PM that day. According to court officials, she faced a charge of Simple Assault under New Jersey law. Chief Andrew Caggiano noted that a criminal complaint does not imply guilt without proper legal adjudication.
Milania has pleaded not guilty to the charge and is awaiting her next court appearance, scheduled for December 1. Meanwhile, Teresa has made recent claims regarding her daughter, suggesting that Milania had “fentanyl in her system” during an incident at Tampa International Airport.
This claim arose while Teresa was explaining her daughter’s unusual behavior captured on bodycam footage at the airport last month. Milania countered in the footage, insisting she had been laced and mentioning her college life. The circumstances around this fentanyl case, including the timing and the party responsible for it, remain unclear.
In response to the bodycam footage, Teresa issued a heartfelt statement about the turmoil her family has faced recently. She emphasized her commitment to her children’s safety, acknowledging the significant emotional distress Milania has been experiencing due to the loss of friends.
Teresa expressed the need for compassion and privacy for her family during this challenging period, inviting understanding from the public and media. She concluded with a plea for respect towards Milania as she navigates this time of healing.
