Texas A&M fans ejected from CWS after Florida dugout incident

As the SEC likes to say, it means much more.

Two fans took that saying to an extreme during Saturday night’s College World Series.

During a game between Florida and Texas A&M in Omaha, a Texas A&M fan was ejected after approaching the Florida dugout and yelling disparaging comments about the Gators.

Video footage showed security guards clearing spectators from the stadium.

But the fan actions may have worked to Texas A&M’s advantage.

Florida did not contest the key play at the time of the incident. After A&M scored on an infield hit, one of the fans was seen yelling toward the Florida dugout, and then both were seen being escorted out of the stadium by security.

In the end, A&M won 3-2, and at least the fans were satisfied, despite the ejection the second time around.

Florida will play in a consolation match against North Carolina State on Monday afternoon, while Texas A&M will host Kentucky on Monday night.
