A Texas couple is accused of plotting to kidnap and murder a man with whom his wife was having an affair.
According to reports, Omar Bishtawi, 48, and Hana Aloraimi, 35, are charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault. fox 26.
The man with whom Aroraimi was having an affair was also married to another person. However, the man's wife found out about the relationship and the man ended the relationship, according to court documents. Aloraimi and Bishtawi then allegedly conspired to kidnap and kill the man.
“It is said that you were both married to other people and that when the complainant's wife found out about the relationship, the complainant ended the relationship,” the judge told Aloraimi in court. He said this while reading out the probable cause.

The couple arrived at a Chick-fil-A in Houston and waited for the victim, a DoorDash driver with whom Aloraimi had an affair, to show up. They parked next to his car and waited for him to come out of the restaurant.
The judge said Aroraimi gestured to the victim, who was sitting in the car. The woman then tried to drive away, but the victim told her he couldn't leave because he had a delivery scheduled.
Bishtawi then jumped out from under the back seat curtain of the car, strangled the victim and pressed the gun to his head. When the victim tried to run away, Bishtawi shot him twice.

The victim was shot in the thigh and leg, but was taken to a hospital and survived.
the man told KHOU He broke off their relationship with Aroraimi three months ago after it became toxic, but she refused to leave him alone and even showed up at his new apartment. The victim said that after he was kidnapped, Bishtawi told him he had to die because he had dishonored his wife.

According to court records, the incident occurred at the same Chick-fil-A where Aroraimi and the victim met before driving behind a nearby Target after being alone for a while, Fox 26 reported.
The couple has three children, ages 13, 10 and 7, the woman said in open court during the probable cause hearing.
Bishtawi's bond was set at $200,000 and Aloraimi's bond was set at $150,000.
