Police say a young Texas mother traveled 150 miles to meet her Hinge date, leaving her 16-month-old son alone at home overnight, only to find the infant covered in feces and hanging from a window. It is said that he did.

According to reports, just before 10 a.m. on July 28, a neighbor reported that an infant was hanging from a broken window of a first-floor apartment and that an aggressive dog was trying to attack the baby. Killeen police officers were called to Myers' home, police said. KWTX.
When police arrived, they saw the child's head and shoulders sticking out of the window (which had been secured with cardboard and plexiglass) and a dog lunging at residents who tried to pull the child out. police said in the affidavit.
Officers removed the cardboard and plexiglass and climbed through the window to find the boy wearing only a shirt with feces on his skin, according to an affidavit obtained by local police.
They made sure there was no one else inside, just the two dogs that were guarding the baby, but the child's parents took some precautions in case the toddler was left unsupervised. The document states that the company noticed signs that it appeared to be.
Police then called Myers, who is now in San Antonio, about a 2 1/2-hour drive away, and whom they met on the dating app Hinge after driving out the day before, according to the affidavit. She reportedly told him she was with a man.

She claimed she hired a babysitter from Facebook to watch her son while they were on a date, but when police spoke with the babysitter, she said she had not spoken to him or Myers since December 2023. He was also told that he had not done so, the documents state.
According to the affidavit, Myers' former roommate told police that his mother frequently left her son home at night, claiming she would not return until the next day and that her son slept through the night. .
The woman lived with the mother and baby for a month in October 2023 and told police that she witnessed signs of neglect towards the baby.
Myers was later booked into the Bell County Jail, KWTX reported.
