A high school hairdresser and her son in Klein, Texas, have been arrested on suspicion of soliciting students who were said to have run away from home as prostitutes.

Grisby, a Klein ISD high school teacher, is accused of helping McGee by recruiting teenagers from the schools where he worked.
As part of his recruiting efforts, Grigsby provided students with hotel rooms to live in, according to court records.

Evidence presented during court proceedings reportedly showed text messages between the complainant and McGee discussing Zell’s payments for prostitution services.
Authorities say Grigsby paid for the hotel room where the incident allegedly occurred.
The sheriff’s office says the victims, ages 15, 16 and 17, were all runaways and students who Grigsby was employed as a teacher.

In a statement from the school district obtained by Houston’s FOX 26, officials alerted the Klein Cain High School student’s family to the situation.
“We are writing to inform you of a situation that we were just notified of by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, which was immediately addressed,” the letter to the family said. “Law enforcement has notified us that hairstylist Kedria Grigsby has been taken into custody on felony charges of sex trafficking and forced prostitution. As soon as we were made aware of this information, the school district immediately We took action, made an arrest, and promptly placed Mr. Grigsby on administrative reprimand.” “

The district went on to say it has no intention of returning Grigsby to the high school or the district.

McGee was arrested in November 2022 and remains in prison. Grigsby is being held on $750,000 bail, and as part of her release conditions, she is prohibited from contacting witnesses or having unsupervised interactions with minors.
