Former President Donald Trump issued a two-word statement mocking Vice President Kamala Harris’ selection of radical left-wing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
“Thank you!” he said. Posts on Truth Social on Tuesday mornings.
The selection shows that rather than shoring up her support in Pennsylvania, Harris has aligned herself with the most left-leaning candidate on the slate.
Walz comes from a Blue Wall state, but Minnesota has historically been much more Democratic than Wisconsin, Pennsylvania or Michigan.

Ms Harris picked Mr Walz over pro-Israel Governor Josh Shapiro, who hails from the crucial state of Pennsylvania and was seen as Ms Harris’ second choice, apparently because of opposition from the left.
Political analysts believe seven states — Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina — will determine the president. If Trump wins one or more of these states, Harris’ chances of winning the 270 electoral votes will be slim.
“It’s no surprise that San Francisco liberal Kamala Harris wants West Coast wannabe Tim Walz as her running mate. During his time as governor, Walz has sought to remake Minnesota in the image of the Golden State,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said in a statement Tuesday.
“Waltz pretends to support Midwestern Americans, but when the cameras aren’t rolling, rural America is…”Mainly cows and rocks,” she added.
Democrats expressed fears of losing the presidential election last week, suggesting that Trump’s support in “blue wall” states may be too strong for Harris to overcome.
