Two people were killed and two others were injured in a shooting in San Antonio on Thanksgiving morning, police said.
Gunfire rang out around 8 a.m. at a home off Potomac Street near St. James Street on the city's east side, KABB-TV reported.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said four people were found shot.
“Everyone involved in this incident, including the shooter, knew each other,” he told reporters at the scene.
The suspect, a man in his 20s, is believed to have opened fire as he was leaving the house.
The suspected shooter was taken into police custody.
“I can't remember how many times I've been called out on Thanksgiving for something like this, but it seems to happen all too often,” the chief said.
