The 9 best fantasy waiver pickups for Week 12

Welcome to Week 14 Waiver Wire Watch! Consider filing waivers for the following players in your fantasy football league (available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues).

Will Levis, QB; tennessee titans

Russell Wilson, who rushed for 400 yards and three touchdowns in the district win, will likely be the most popular waiver addition at the position — and rightly so. Instead, we'll focus on Levi, who should get a lot of attention from everyone in 2QB/deep fantasy leagues. After a rocky start to the season and sitting on the bench for several games, Levi has scored 16 points or more in each of four games since returning as Tennessee's starter. Brian Callahan is quietly enthusiastic as the calm gunslinger. They will benefit from next month's cupcake schedule. jaguars (32nd in fantasy points given to quarterbacks), bengals (29th), colts (23rd) And the Jaguars again.

Jonathan Brooks, RB; carolina panthers

Brooks, the 46th overall pick and the first running back taken in this year's draft, made his NFL debut in Week 12. Brooks was limited to just two carries for seven total yards, but became more involved Sunday with nine touches for 41 yards. The rebuilding Panthers are in no position to rush Brooks back, who continues to recover from a torn ACL, especially with Chuba Hubbard (who signed a contract extension in November) firmly entrenched in the backfield. I'm not in a hurry. Still, if Brooks can get the next 10-12 touches, that would mean a lot more than just about any player available on waivers.

Isaac Gerendo, RB; san francisco 49ers

Unfortunately, Christian McCaffrey's season will likely end with a PCL injury. He was ejected early in the second quarter of Sunday Night Football. Jordan Mason led the way with 13 carries for 78 yards, averaging 17.3 carries and 90.6 rushing yards in six starts this season, excluding CMC. However, he subsequently injured his ankle and was placed on injured reserve. That means Isaac Gerendo is next. Gerendo had four rushes for 19 yards and a touchdown in Mason's place. He is notable as he has played in 85-yard games and 99-yard games in place of the injured backs, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Gerendo is registered in just 7% of the league, so he should be able to play.

Blake Collum, RB; Los Angeles Rams

There are plenty of “handcuffed” running backs in fantasy leagues, and many more talented than Colm. But no player is in a better situation than a third-round rookie. Rams starter Kyren Williams leads all players in carries inside the 5-yard line, and while Colm would need to be out for him to offer any real fantasy value, the latter has plenty of room on the roster. For some people, it's worth keeping hidden just in case. Williams has a very small frame and has dealt with fumble issues, which probably opened the door for Colm to a career-high 42 total yards on Sunday. Again, this is just a luxury for fantasy managers who can afford it, but I'd plant my flag on Corum. you Handcuffs RB to own now.

Nick Westbrook Iquine, WR; tennessee titans

The man keeps scoring touchdowns! Westbrook-Ikin set season highs on Sunday with eight targets and two spikes, giving him his eighth point in the last eight games. His production isn't entirely sustainable… Still, as mentioned above, Levi and Callahan are cooking up some spicy stuff in Nashville, and there's nothing better to do with their upcoming schedule.

Adam Thielen, WR, Carolina Panthers

Having two Titans and Panthers on this list is a terrible job for me. Thielen's spot might be the most obvious, especially considering he caught eight of 10 targets for 99 yards and a touchdown (season highs) on Sunday. Thielen is Bryce Young's go-to guy. Now, with the former healthier and the latter more confident, Thielen is poised to produce some notable fantasy work in the future. He will be unavailable for most leagues by this weekend.

Parker Washington, WR; jacksonville jaguars

Washington had the quietest breakout performance this week. Washington had a career day catching passes from two different quarterbacks. Mac Jones had to finish the day in place of Trevor Lawrence, but “P.Dubs” still caught 6 of 12 balls for 103 yards and one score. He benefits from facing a backup slot corner and has only one other NFL game in which he gained over 50 yards, so don't expect Washington to be a solid fantasy option. . Having said that, pennsylvania state university For a Jaguars team that continues to be at a disadvantage, chances are likely to continue without Christian Kirk.
