Country music fans were stunned Tuesday when news broke that country star Toby Keith had passed away after a battle with cancer.
The “Beer for My Horses” singer-songwriter has passed away from stomach cancer at the age of 62, prompting a wave of condolences from fellow stars, fans, and leaders across the United States.
Keith was also praised by former President Donald Trump’s son Don Trump Jr., who claimed, “We have lost a legend.”
Pop megastar Taylor Swift is also a big fan of Keith. In 2022 she will Said At WSMV in Nashville, Keith said there was electricity going on when he entered the room.
“You can feel it because you’re in the room with him. There’s a power there and it’s just like, ‘Oh my God,'” Swift said of Keith. “I don’t think I’ll ever meet him and not think, ‘Oh my god, that’s Toby Keith!'”

There’s a good reason why Swift likes Keith. He was also a key figure in helping launch Swift’s Topman career at Show Dog Nashville Records and Big Machine Records, the latter of which was Swift’s former label. . new york post I have written.
It was DreamWorks executive Scott Borchetta who originally signed Swift to Big Machine, and Keith was a key member of the team that helped get her career off the ground.
Still, even though Keith played an important role in Swift’s career, she has not commented on his death.
