Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein told Breitbart News that the Democratic Party should be renamed “anti-Democrat” because they are “doing everything they can” to stop her name from appearing on the ballot in multiple states.
“I think the Democratic Party needs to be renamed. They are actually ‘anti-Democrat,’ and I’ve had issues with both institutionalized parties. Republicans are no exception, but when you focus on the Democrats, they’ve done everything they can to basically shut out political competition,” Stein told Breitbart News’ Matthew Purdy.
“Isn’t that what democracy is supposed to be?” she asked.
She continued, “Democrats proudly announced in March that they had hired an army of elite lawyers from big corporations to remove opponents like me from the election, and now they’re doing just that.”
Democratic Party Putting it all together A team of lawyers aimed at fighting third-party competition from candidates such as Stein, Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“It’s being challenged in a couple of states right now, but we actually beat it in Nevada, we beat it in Wisconsin,” she said.

“They’re digging up every reason to challenge us, to drain our resources and basically shut us down,” Stein added.
