‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ Hits Home Video while Continuing Theatrical Run

The most successful faith-based film of the Christmas season is now on home video. The best Christmas pageant ever (PG) Released this week premium video on demandgives fans who missed the movie or want to see it again and again the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with the Hardman family.

The Shepherd Boys are the unruly children at the center of the story who unexpectedly acquire all the major roles in the town's Christmas play and threaten to destroy the town. It is based on the children's book of the same name. Director Dallas Jenkins the chosen one, also supervised The best Christmas pageant ever.

The film is currently playing in hundreds of theaters across the United States and debuted in third place at the box office, grossing $35 million domestically.

It was produced by the same studio as Kingdom Story Company. Jesus Revolution, Ordinary Angel and i can only imagine.

“This movie resonates with audiences,” producer Kevin Downs told Crosswalk Headlines. “And Dallas Jenkins has done a great job adapting this book. This book obviously has a huge fan base. This book has been around for 50 years. I was really happy with this movie. It has the fun that people expect, but it has a charm to it. And when you deliver the heart, people want to come back and experience it again. I think so. ”

The film stars Judy Greer, Pete Holmes, and Lauren Graham.

Jenkins said the story contains several Biblical messages.

“I think there's an important message in this movie about understanding people you don't normally meet, people coming to church for the first time, people coming from the wrong direction, people living in poverty. judge and really, really try to understand [them]” Jenkins previously told Crosswalk Headlines. “Perhaps there is a point of view in the Christmas story that ours or that of suburban America might miss or take for granted.”

The film's central message concerns Christ, he added.

“Those are the last words of the movie: 'A child is born to you.' That's ultimately the message…Jesus came to earth for you,” Jenkins said. “That's the message that comes across in this movie in a comedic way, but it also comes across in a very emotional and spiritual way in this movie.”
