I’m always pissed when the left misrepresents current events, but two recent examples have me infuriated. First, Martha Ann Alito expressed her frustration at having to stare at an unwelcome gay pride flag within viewing distance of her home. The wife of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito complained that she was disgusted by the sight.
Why does she have to stare at the symbol of awakening wherever she turns?Secret Conversations” Not everyone knows that Martha Ann Alito “resisted having to see LGBTQ symbols,” according to The New York Times.
If re-elected, Trump would be entirely justified in investigating government officials who tried to destroy him politically and economically.
When I talk to young, enlightened people I know, and listen to them, I find it very unpleasant. To CNNI heard one of them opine that it was unfair to hold Alito accountable for his wife’s infuriating behavior — after all, why should a judge be held responsible for his wife’s insane behavior (in this case insane meaning “insensitive” or “fascist”)?
CNN’s apparent goal to remove unconscious justices from the court as a threat to “democracy” is truly infuriating, but what infuriated me even more was Justice Alito’s mistreatment of his wife. Why should she celebrate people who are engaging in immoral behavior according to most established social norms, and certainly inherited Judeo-Christian norms, for the month of June and with less enthusiasm for the rest of the year? Until recently, this would have been dogma among most Americans, and the view still prevails among millions of moral traditionalists. Tolerating repulsive behavior may be mandated by law, but celebrating it is another matter.
Why, while showing boundless contempt for the sentiments of these traditionalists, can we not help but rejoice in the sexual activity and transsexuality of a minority of our population? The answer is obvious: because we fear the “fake media” and what they will do to those who deviate from their anti-traditional orthodoxy. Thus, we tear down Confederate flags and monuments because they offend some Americans, and we rename sports teams called “Indians” because the word offends wealthy white leftists. But we have no qualms about forcing the worship of LGBTQ symbols on Americans of all races who find them morally offensive.
personally, Pete Buttigieg, “First openly gay Cabinet member,” he said, expressing outrage at Martha Ann Alito’s secret conversations. Mayor Pete is not my moral compass. He is the epitome of a gay man in a woke administration, and not even a decent Secretary of Transportation.
Number 2, The Hill Recently, the website ran a scare story about a “Bad Orange Man” who may seek “revenge” against his political opponents if re-elected. The website quoted two of Trump’s Republican Senate critics, one of whom is Mitch McConnell, as fearing that Trump is eager to “retaliate with a politically motivated prosecution of himself.”
Why shouldn’t Trump treat his enemies the way they treated him? Heaven knows he was provoked enough. Given what Trump has been through since 2016, including an unjust FBI investigation, espionage by the surveillance state, harassment by a weaponized Justice Department led by Merrick Garland, and being convicted without evidence of a identifiable felony, a re-elected Trump would be a worthy opponent of the president’s spy campaign. Totally justified They are investigating government officials who tried to ruin him politically and financially.
Some may not be aware, but since the ideologically critical presidency of Barack Obama, there has been a massive shake-up of government agencies, including the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA, which now serve the left while making increasingly implausible claims to be above politics. President Trump would be a fool and a cowardly RINO if he did not send a message to these agencies, which have become subsidiaries of the Democratic National Committee, and to bad Democratic district attorneys like Alvin Bragg.
Moreover, unlike the Biden Administration, which has treated its political opponents as MAGA terrorists, President Trump has conspicuously refrained from legally attacking Democrats, even his arch rival Hillary Clinton. It is outrageous that Trump, who throughout his presidency has shown saintly tolerance for the legally questionable actions of his opponents, is now being relentlessly attacked by the corporate media as a would-be dictator and a “threat to democracy.” It is the Democrats who are playing this role, and they are doing it perfectly.
For the record: On June 2, in a widely misunderstood response to a question about whether he would seek retaliation as president, Trump declared, “Success is the best revenge.” Subsequent interview“Revenge can be justified,” he added. I want to repeat my point, if only to counter the temptation of Democrats across the country to do to other Republican politicians what they did to Trump. Not only is revenge justified, Absolutely necessary.
