The cause of death for prominent YouTuber P2isthename was disclosed nearly three months after his passing in a Los Angeles mail room at the age of 26.

Known for his gaming video, Walkthrough C-Rip, P2istname died of natural causes on March 14, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner on Tuesday.

Born Philip Enewaly, he suffered from “sudden cardiac dysfunction due to isolated papillary hypertrophy.”

Medical experts clarified that this condition is a kind of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which can lead to unexpected, fatal heart issues.

He was discovered in his apartment building’s mail room shortly after collapsing.

Despite paramedics’ attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at 3:11 PM local time.

It remains unclear if substances played any role in P2istname’s death.

A comprehensive report on his passing will be issued later, according to the LA medical examiner.

In light of this tragic news, fellow YouTuber Colesman took to social media to express his condolences.

“I’m honestly speechless,” he shared with his nearly 1 million subscribers. “He was always incredibly kind to me and had given me so much advice on content creation. I hope he finds peace. This just breaks my heart.”

P2ISTHENAME quickly rose to fame creating content for games like Fortnite and the NBA 2K series.

He often provided detailed analysis in his videos to help viewers navigate challenging game scenarios.

His last upload was on February 24, titled “A Normal Night with My Rich ‘Psychotic’ Friend.”

P2isthename had also recently released a clothing line named dontmindus.

Earlier this year, fans learned he was planning to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta.

In videos posted before his tragic passing, he was seen packing and shipping clothing orders in his cyber truck.

He had expressed concerns about a decline in YouTube viewership in the months prior to his death.

In fact, his view counts had dropped significantly, with some videos attracting only 20,000 to 60,000 views.

He had openly shared feelings of being “lost” and dealt with anxieties regarding the future of his channel.
