The colossal amount of money each player will make at Tour Championship

This year marks another milestone year, as it marks the 18th season of the PGA Tour playoffs.

The winner of the 2024 Tour Championship will receive a $25 million bonus, up $7 million from last year.

Viktor Hovland won $18 million last year. 2019 Tour champion Rory McIlroy earned $15 million.

This prize money is called bonus money on the PGA Tour because it does not count towards season earnings.

A total of $100 million in prizes are on the line this week.

Second place will receive $12.5 million, third place will receive a whopping $7.5 million, and all 30 players who make it to the finals will receive a bonus. What’s more, the top 12 players will receive seven-figure bonuses.

Everyone wants to win the tournament, but if you make it this far, it should be considered a victory because no matter what happens, you’ll be taking home a huge amount of prize money.
