Chase Travel’s New Feature: The Edit

Finding your next perfect getaway just got simpler with The Edit by Chase Travel.

If you’re a holder of the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, or the Chase Sapphire Reserve℠ for Business—or even the exclusive JPMorgan Reserve Card—you now have access to a full list of accommodations through The Edit in the Chase Travel portal.

The Edit serves as Chase’s luxury hotel booking hub, showcasing select hotels where qualified cardholders can enjoy exclusive benefits during their stays. This shift is significant, particularly for those who once had to comb through various cities for options in The Edit collection.

So, what’s new here? Let’s break it down.

How to Access The Edit Properties

To explore the complete list, simply log into your account via the Chase app or on their website. Navigate to Rewards & Travel, then click on “Book a trip.”

After that, scroll to “Discover The Edit by Chase Travel” and hit “More.” A new page will load, giving you access to an extensive list of accommodations available in the program.

Chase’s app and website make it easy to sort through 1,371 hotels based on country. You can even search by a specific city or hotel name if you have something particular in mind.

Benefits of Booking with The Edit

When eligible cardholders make reservations through The Edit, they can enjoy several perks, which might include:

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi where available.
  • Daily breakfast for two.
  • Early check-in and late check-out at select properties.
  • Room upgrades, when possible.

Don’t forget, both Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business cardholders can earn eight points for every dollar spent on Chase Travel reservations, including those in The Edit.

Additional Perks

Keep in mind that Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business offer up to $250 in credits twice a year for prepaid stays booked with The Edit (a two-night minimum stay is usually required). This is a nice way to balance out annual fees on these cards.

Maximizing Benefits

Additionally, you can combine your card’s statement credits with point boosts. Using points to cover part of your stay can yield the best value for Chase Ultimate Rewards points—up to 2 cents per point for select hotels.

Conclusion

This new feature is a big win for Chase Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, and JPMorgan Reserve cardholders. Previously, finding available properties within The Edit was a bit of a challenge. Now, with this public list, determining participating hotels has become much more straightforward.

With excellent earning potential, valuable statement credits, and the option to stack point boosts, booking through The Edit is a fantastic choice for eligible cardholders. This new list truly makes the process even better.
