The Democrats’ path to achievement

The Democrats' path to achievement

The Democrats seem a bit lost these days. They’ve embraced a more radical ideology, barreling forward without a clear direction—kind of like Captain Ahab, relentless and maybe a bit obsessed. For them, altering their course feels like a betrayal. Ironically, many aboard seem to still rally around this captain.

This leaves them one main tactic: stirring conflict and pushing the Republicans into a reaction. It’s almost like they want a fight and see it as a useful tool.

“Democrats can’t lift themselves up, so they have to pull the other side down,” is how it comes across.

You can spot this pattern weekly across various locations—from Los Angeles to hearings on Capitol Hill, and even at detention centers in New Jersey.

A recent episode involving California Sen. Alex Padilla at a press event was just another instance of intentional provocation aimed at achieving a specific result.

It wasn’t just ordinary heckling. An influential senator shouldn’t really be heckled in such settings, yet there he was, being filmed while detained, showing signs of frustration.

Similar chaos surrounded Lamonica McQuiver (D-N.J.). As a U.S. Representative, she literally ran through a Homeland Security detention center, engaging with police officers as if it were a game. The spectacle seemed more about getting arrested on camera than addressing real issues.

Stacey Plaskett, a congresswoman from the U.S. Virgin Islands, also got in on the action, posting a rather graphic message that combined crude humor with personal details. The post drew plenty of attention, including some rather rude speculation about women in Congress experiencing emotional symptoms.

In Los Angeles, wealthy Democratic businesspeople and nonprofits appear to be supporting riots fueled by activists and illegal immigrants. Instead of protecting communities, these actions aim to provoke reactions from law enforcement, creating footage they can use repeatedly.

Now they’re doxxing names and addresses of federal agents, likely hoping for violent retaliation. It raises the question: do they really think they can take on the federal government? It seems their tactic is to elicit big reactions, which they frame as issues of fascism or dictatorship.

This is a strategy we often see in the realm of mass media, where losing sides in political debates and wars try to garner sympathy through provocative actions. The challenge for those in power is avoiding the trap.

Remember the Tea Party Day? Those gatherings attracted huge crowds, marked by peaceful actions and, believe it or not, they even cleaned up after themselves. It was safe enough for the late John Lewis (D-Ga.) to attend among the protesters.

Democratic staffers had set up cameras hoping for confrontation, but when nothing happened, they asserted they faced racial slurs. Despite an offer of $10,000 from Andrew Breitbart for any video evidence, no one could produce it. Yet, the narrative still spread through various media outlets, likening it to key events in civil rights history.

Nowadays, it feels like the corporate media’s credibility to spin tales has hit an all-time low. Interestingly, the restraint shown by law enforcement and the previous administration has also been noted positively.

Padilla was only identified as a senator when confronted by Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem. Initially blocked from proceeding, he faced temporary detainment and later interaction with Noem, who had her own version of the incident.

Similar restraint was evident when dealing with McQuiver, who faced legal consequences after her actions.

Plaskett’s harsh words online elicited a quiet response from many.

The National Guard and Marines were dispatched to safeguard federal personnel and property in Los Angeles, but their deployment was unacknowledged by the president, who had the authority to call for such action.

At present, the tension remains, with Democrats still trying to provoke. Lacking the will to shift their popular stances, they appear to aim for making the other side less appealing. It’s a concerning strategy, dragging down opponents instead of raising their own support.

They’re literally playing with fire here. When they instigate violence or target public servants for retaliation, they enter a risky game that overshadows petty disputes in Washington.
