‘The Entire Program Is Insolvent’

California Rep. Carl DeMaio (R-San Diego) said that California Medicaid program Medi-Cal has not only been insufficient in cash since Gov. Gavin Newsom (d) expanded to include illegal aliens, but is completely bankrupt.

As Breitbart News reported last week, Newsom's government was forced to borrow $3.444 billion to maintain the program, just a year after opening up Medi-Cal to illegal aliens of all ages.

Demaio spoke Breitbart News Sunday SiriusXM Patriot 125 explains the system is in a financial collapse.

“They don't have the money to pay the vendor,” Demaio told Breitbart News. “They don't have the money to pay their healthcare providers.” As a result, on paper, all California residents received free health care, but many had no access to it, but ordinary Californians could face tens of thousands of dollars in insurance costs per year.

Demaio was expelled from two budget committees by Democrats. The Democrats apparently responded to questions about how the money is being spent. Democrats also ousted four other Republicans and one medium Democrat from the committee allocated earlier this month.

But DeMaio, a long-time conservative activist from San Diego, does not give up and demands an answer.
