In what is sure to be an exciting day for team sports in the United States, the U.S. women’s soccer team will face Brazil at 11 a.m. ET, looking to win their first gold medal since 2012.
And at 1:10 p.m., the American track and field sensation will have another chance to add a gold medal to his resume.
Participants include Quincy Hall (4x400m relay), Elle St. Pierre, Nikki Hiltz (women’s 1500m final) and Grant Fisher (men’s 5000m).
The culmination may come in the afternoon, as the United States and France play for the men’s basketball gold medal at 3:30 p.m.
After a dramatic come-from-behind victory over Serbia on Thursday, LeBron James and Team USA will be hoping to reach the top step of the podium against Victor Wembanyama and France.
