The events to watch at the Paris Olympics on Sunday, Aug. 11

There are still many must-see events scheduled for the final day of the Paris Olympics.

At 7 a.m., the U.S. women’s volleyball team will play Italy in the gold medal game, looking to defend their title.

And at 9:30 a.m., Diana Taurasi’s U.S. women’s basketball team will remain undefeated and look to win an astounding eighth consecutive gold medal.

All of the weeks of activity will culminate with the closing ceremony, which begins at 3pm ET on NBC.

Featured sport: Handball

Handball is a combination of soccer and basketball, played on a 20m x 40m court between two teams of seven players.

Players can dribble the ball (three steps instead of two are allowed between each dribble) and must throw the ball into the net to score a goal.

Germany and Denmark will face off for the gold medal at 7:30 a.m.
