As the new year begins, some Americans may be looking for new jobs.
of 2025 edition LinkedIn's “Jobs on the Rise” report, released Tuesday, identified positions that have seen significant growth in the U.S. over the past few years.

LinkedIn calculated the list of fastest growing positions in the US from millions of positions joined by LinkedIn users between January 1, 2022 and July 31, 2022. We used growth rates.
The top 10 jobs in LinkedIn's 2025 report included:

- artificial intelligence consultant
- physical therapist
- human resources development manager
- travel advisor
- event coordinator
- development director
- External sales representative
- sustainability specialist
- security guard
The U.S. report lists a total of 25 jobs in the ranking, some of which were not included in previous LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise rankings.
For example, according to LinkedIn, two of the top 10 fastest-growing roles are travel advisor and event coordinator, as people travel more and spend more time in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is said that he appeared in 2025 thanks to his participation in a live event.
Other occupations that made the top 25 job rankings for the first time this year included artificial intelligence researchers, community planners, land managers, bridge engineers, and commissioning managers.
LinkedIn also notes that “nearly half of the job openings in the U.S. this year did not exist 25 years ago, including roles such as artificial intelligence engineer, workforce development manager, and chief growth officer.
