Concerns Over YouTube Star’s Influence on Children

Rachel Griffin Accurso, widely recognized as “Teacher Rachel,” has gained a significant audience on YouTube with her educational content aimed at young kids. However, some, like Blaze TV host Sarah Gonzalez, have raised serious concerns about her influence. Gonzalez expressed, as a parent, she would never allow her child to watch Accurso’s videos.

She warned that parents should always be cautious about the content their children consume, stating, “There’s a lot of stuff out there that completely indoctrinates kids.” Gonzalez specifically criticized Accurso, calling her the “worst” for “multiple reasons.”

Gonzalez further elaborated, referencing an article about Accurso’s recent political statements, suggesting that her content could be harmful to children’s development.

“She…brags about how she plans to brainwash children,” Gonzalez claimed. Accurso’s stated goal includes shutting down an immigration facility in South Texas and advocating for the return of illegal immigrants.

Gonzalez questioned Accurso’s lack of concern for the welfare of unaccompanied minors affected by immigration policies, expressing disbelief at her silence on serious issues related to their safety.

Additionally, Gonzalez pointed out that Accurso liked a controversial comment on Instagram that some found to be anti-Semitic. In response, Accurso posted a video on social media, admitting to mistakes but insisting that she does not support anti-Semitism.

Gonzalez, however, remains skeptical, suggesting Accurso is fully aware of her actions, particularly regarding her statements that align with pro-Palestinian views.
