Joyce Randolph, the actress known for her role as Trixie Norton on “The Honeymooners,” has died, Fox News Digital has confirmed.
After spending several months in home hospice care, she passed away “peacefully in her sleep” at her Manhattan home, said her only son, Randy Charles. She was 99 years old.
Randolph was the last surviving member of the iconic '50s sitcom and was preceded in death by co-stars Jackie Gleason, Art Carney and Audrey Meadows.

This short-lived sitcom followed the lives of two New York City couples: Ralph Kramden (Gleeson) and his wife Alice (Meadows), and Ed Norton (Carney) and his wife Trixie (Randolph). Originally a comedy skit on “The Jackie Gleason Show,'' it was remade into a one-season, half-hour show that ran for 39 episodes.
Gleason's variety show was cut when the show first aired, but was brought back on the air in 1956 after “The Honeymooners'' was cancelled.
In 2022, The Hollywood Reporter shared that CBS Studios is rebooting the show with a focus on female protagonists.

Randolph had been involved in a number of projects before “The Honeymooners,'' but his son said many of them were lost because they were broadcast live. “She often joked and often played the role of the young woman who ended up being the corpse in murder mysteries. That's why they called her 'The Most Murdered Girl' on TV.” ” he told FOX News Digital.
Charles said of his late mother, “In addition to being a wonderful actress, she was also a wonderful mother and a loving wife.” Randolph married her husband Richard Lincoln Charles the day after “The Honeymooners'' premiered in 1955, and she remained married until Randolph's death in 1997.

A private memorial service for Mr. Randolph will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family says donations can be made in Randolph's honor to the Entertainment Community Fund (formerly known as the Actors Fund).
Randolph's late husband was a member of the charity's board of directors.
