The long-awaited first trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has finally arrived.

After a few months of keeping up with production updates, we can now catch a glimpse of what’s to come.

The teaser starts off with striking red Valentino Rockstud pumps making their way through an office, mixed in with scenes from a runway show.

You’re treated to a close shot of a mesh corset paired with oversized hoop earrings, and there’s the popping of a champagne bottle…

Sure enough, those iconic shoes belong to none other than Miranda Priestly.

As she steps into a runway elevator clad in a black and white houndstooth skirt and red patent belt—those signature sunglasses on her face—the doors open unexpectedly at that dramatic moment.

Meanwhile, Andy Sachs makes her appearance in high fashion, sporting a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier ensemble paired with jewelry from Natasha Schweitzer and Gemma Wynn.

Priestly’s approval comes through quickly with her remark, “It took us long enough,” showcasing a shift in their dynamic.

As the elevator door shuts, it seems that Sachs dons sunglasses similar to Priestly’s, suggesting a change in the balance of power.

The trailer keeps fashion at its forefront—serving almost as a character in itself. Some scenes even give a nod to the original film’s opening sequence, where Priestley makes a striking entrance.

Interestingly, Anne Hathaway, who turns 43 today, was the first to share the trailer with her followers this morning.

“Today is everyone’s birthday 🥳🎁 😎 👠 #43 #DWP2,” she captioned her post.

With the release set for May 1, 2026—still half a year away—and the upcoming Met Gala just three days off, the countdown for The Devil Wears Prada’s triumphant return has officially begun.
