Junior Guard Florida After entering the transfer portal on Thursday, he will spend his senior college basketball season elsewhere. SB Nation has confirmed ESPN's report that Rutson, the country's leading scorer, is actually on the portal.

Rutson averaged 25.2 points per game this season, with 4.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. The 5-foot-8 guard from Miami was second in the nation in usage (38.1) and sixth in the player efficiency rating (38.5).

Rutson, the 2023 Tamica Catchings National Freshman of the Year, has been named All-ACC First Team for the third consecutive year this season. In his second straight season, Rutson is an Unmeyers Drysdale Award finalist and is given to the best shooting guard every year.

She will soon become the best player available on the transfer portal in this cycle and also raise questions about how good Florida is next season. Brooke Wyckoff's Seminole has also lost Makaila Timpson and Guard O'Maria Gordon. Both have exhausted their qualifications.

Florida played NCAA tournaments every season when Rutson was on the roster, but never made it to the second weekend.
