The long term future of ESPN’s ‘Around the Horn’ is up in the air

You might hear an “Around the Horn” buzzer sounding in the distance.

The long-term future of ESPN’s daily sports talk show, which launched in 2002, is unclear, The Washington Post reported.

Several sources believe the show will end on ESPN before the 2025 football season.

It was not immediately clear why the show was potentially ending.

An ESPN spokesman declined to comment.

The show is hosted by Tony Leary, who replaced original host Max Kellerman in 2004, and features a panel of commentators taking turns scoring the key points of debate on the day’s sports topics.

Since its launch, it has been part of the “Happy Hour” block alongside “Pardon the Interruption” every day from 5-6pm EST.

Panelists on “Around the Horn” over the years have included, and often still do, Bob Ryan, Tim Cowlishaw, Jay Mariotti, Mina Kimes, Woody Page, JA Adande, Pablo Torre, Frank Isola, Jemele Hill and Michael Smith.
