There are growing concerns about Joe Biden’s situation, especially regarding his health. For nearly his entire first term, the White House and certain parts of the media have downplayed the former president’s mental decline, despite evident gaffes and missteps. A recent book by Jake Tupper and Alex Thompson, titled *Original Sin*, reveals that some aides even considered having Biden use a wheelchair for another four years.
Now, with his surprising cancer diagnosis, there’s an unsettling twist that has many questioning if there was yet another cover-up. Some doctors have expressed skepticism about how this diagnosis came to light, pointing out the circumstances surrounding it.
One member from the American Cancer Research Association pointed out that it seems unusual to be hearing about Biden’s advanced cancer now, especially given the symptoms he reportedly had. Dr. Chris George, who leads a cancer program at Northwestern Health Network, further commented on the oddity of the situation, noting that Biden likely undergoes regular and thorough check-ups that should normally catch such issues through tests like the PSA blood test.
It’s hard not to raise eyebrows at how a recent PSA could have come back normal if Biden’s cancer has developed this extensively. It leads many to wonder if his family or close aides were aware of his condition before now. If he hadn’t stepped back in July 2024, would the public have known he was dealing with cancer until much later?
This situation, combining both Biden’s mental decline and now a cancer diagnosis, is genuinely troubling. Throughout this time, various groups—including Democrats, the White House, and even his wife, Jill Biden—have touted his abilities, often overlooking serious health concerns for their own advantage. Even long-time allies like Rep. James Clyburn recently argued that Biden deserved to finish his term.
People should hope for Biden’s recovery and also wish that his health issues weren’t concealed any further. The original cover-up is troubling enough; a second would be more than concerning.
