John Cena’s Farewell Tour Takes a Surprise Turn

The farewell tour for John Cena, the iconic 17-time WWE champion, has taken an unexpected twist. Recently, he “sold his soul” to his fanbase by leading them over to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, all while defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. Since that event, Cena has teamed up with Logan Paul for the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event.

Cena’s schedule seems packed, with only a few days remaining for fans and potential opponents to see him in action. WWE star Miz has expressed interest in facing Cena, reminiscing about their early feud back in 2009. Miz famously developed a catchphrase and a finishing move known as the Skull-Crushing Finale. Interestingly, the two even held the tag team championship together, albeit for just nine minutes, before Miz triumphed over Cena to retain his WWE Championship title at WrestleMania XXVII.

“It’s incredible,” Miz shared in a recent interview. “Everyone wants one last match against Cena and to have that in their portfolio. I genuinely believe this is his farewell tour.”

Miz’s Predictions on Cena’s Future

Miz believes Cena’s time in the ring is nearing its conclusion. He pointed out that Cena acknowledges he can’t perform like he used to. As the end of Cena’s career approaches, Miz stressed the importance of savoring the final moments fans have with him.

“People often say, ‘Oh, he’s back, he’ll make a comeback,'” Miz continued. “But when John Cena says he’s done in the wrestling ring, he’s done.” He thinks there might be opportunities for Cena elsewhere, just not inside the squared circle. “So, I believe this is the last time we’ll see him.”

“We should cherish it,” Miz concluded. “Let’s enjoy his performances while we can. If he doesn’t enjoy it, or if he does, either way, he’s the greatest of all time.”
