On May 7, Jamie Pressly, the Emmy Award-winning actress known for her role in “My Name Is Earl,” launched her own OnlyFans account. OnlyFans is a subscription platform where creators share exclusive content, often of a sexual nature.
In an interview with People magazine, Pressly mentioned that her decision stemmed from a desire to “make what I want, how I want it, and share it directly with the people who have supported me for years.”
It’s becoming increasingly common for celebrities to join OnlyFans; for example, Stu Bruguiere and Dave Landau, hosts of “Stu and Dave Do America,” expressed some surprise at the news.
They noted, somewhat humorously, that while Pressly “still looks beautiful,” her era as a Hollywood sex symbol has long passed, maybe 20 or 25 years ago.
“I’m not sure how many long-term fans Jamie Pressly has,” Stu mused.
“Seems like the phone isn’t ringing,” Dave added jokingly.
While OnlyFans hosts a mix of content, including non-sexual material, Pressly hinted in her interview that her offerings will be “more personal, playful, and completely unfiltered,” featuring photos, videos, and “late-night thoughts.”
“If you’ve ever wondered who I really am when the script is finished, come closer,” she teased.
Stu responded, saying, “Look, this is terrible for you.”
However, Pressly isn’t alone; other established Hollywood figures, like “American Pie” star Shannon Elizabeth and pop icon Lily Allen, have also ventured into the OnlyFans space.
Dave expressed his disapproval of the current trend, questioning, “How overcrowded is Hell? You must be crazy.” He seemed somewhat appalled by the lengths creators go to fulfill their audience’s desires.
Stu found it perplexing why those in Hollywood are exploring platforms like OnlyFans. “There’s this stigma attached to it—it feels like something a person does when they’re desperate,” he said. “Do people in Hollywood really need to resort to this now? It seems skewed.”
