Lily Collins is the latest celebrity to announce the birth of a child through her agent, and the announcement sparked yet another debate surrounding the ethics of customs.

“How can I borrow a uterus and sometimes buy a child through donations of eggs and sperm?” Stuckey criticizes surrogacy often encounters manipulation and emotional games. I ask with caution.
“If you show compassion for your agent, if you show compassion for a baby just torn from the only body and smell and heartbeat she knows, then you hate parents who want to do this. “Stucky says, “In all of this, in all forms of reproductive technology, it is the wish of parents that prioritizes the happiness of a child.”

Many women on the left protest against stricter abortion laws by dressing up dystopian clothes, but Stucky says that borrowing a uterus via surrogacy is “actually similar to a 'handmade story' “These people explain that they miss the point because they are missing out on the point.
“For some reason, liberals love dressing up their red robes and pretending that Margaret Atwood's novel is about abortion. That's not the purpose. In fact, it's far more than the surrogacy industry. It's close,” she says.
In “The Handmaid's Tale,” rich women struggling with infertility use lower class women against their will to carry their children.
“I know what people say, 'Well, it's spontaneous, so if everyone agrees with it, what's a big deal?” There's a lot of things people agree with that But it's morally wrong,” Stucky says. “A lot of them might say they agree with what they're doing. That doesn't mean that offering your body at a price is moral.”
The argument doesn't end with whether it is morally wrong to encourage women financially.
“Physiologically, it is physiologically true that at the moment of birth, the child is waiting for a woman carrying him or her,” Stucky says.
“For two men, they are actually buying egg sellers, they are buying another proxy, they are taking the baby away from the biological mother, they are baby “They are separated from the women who carried that child, and they are intentionally raising a child without a mother,” she explains.
“So, what a cruel, harsh, demonic and social experiment that we are forcing unconscious children in the name of “love is love” and inclusion,” she added. .
