‘The Senate Is Most Likely Going Republican’

CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten said Thursday on “The Source” that Republicans are likely to win the Senate majority in the November elections.

Host Caitlan Collins said: “One of the second most important things we're going to learn from this election is which party is going to control the Senate based on the numbers right now. “It looks like the Democratic Party is losing control.” Republicans poised to win majority, New York Times Siena poll of key races in Montana currently shows Sen. Jon Tester as the incumbent Democrat. He is eight points behind Republican challenger Tim Sheehy. Democrats currently hold a majority of 51 seats in the Senate. They are now almost certain to lose the Democratic seat in West Virginia. ”

She added, “What's the most important race?”

“You mentioned the West Virginia audio, Joe Manchin is retiring, and that goes to the Republican Party, so essentially there are these three races that are obviously focused on Montana,” Enten said. , Jon Tester is trailing in the polls, right? What do you see? Texas and Florida both vote differently today, but what do you see? Beyond that are the Republicans. The bottom line is that Democrats probably need to win one of these seats to stay in power, but it's not that close in any of them. I think this is a dire time for Democrats who want to maintain control of the Senate in this particular time regarding the House, the Senate, and the president.I think the Senate is most likely going to be Republican. I’m sure you can say that.”
