The theory that unsettled Liz Wheeler: Was there a fifth plane on 9/11?

September 11, 2001: Ongoing Mysteries

September 11, 2001, is etched in American history as a day of profound tragedy, yet even after almost 25 years, many questions about that fateful day remain unanswered.

Liz Wheeler, a host on Blaze TV, recently shared her thoughts on a particularly unsettling episode of a TMZ documentary focused on United Flight 23, which was grounded following the attacks on the World Trade Center. Wheeler revealed that there were suggestions this flight might have been another target of the hijackers.

“I just watched an incredibly eerie documentary that left me with chills,” Wheeler said. “Surprisingly, it was produced by TMZ, and I’m usually not a fan of celebrity gossip.” She went on to commend the documentary as “very well-done investigative reporting about September 11, 2001.”

This documentary questions the commonly held belief that only four planes were hijacked by al-Qaeda on that day, presenting evidence that a fifth plane may have been involved.

“What if we could show you that there was actually another plane intended for hijacking? Both the government and the airlines were aware of it, but they seem to be covering it up,” Wheeler speculated.

The documentary includes accounts from flight attendants who mentioned a man in a burqa among the passengers.

“Imagine seeing someone in a full burqa—not just a headscarf, but a complete outfit with only slits for eyes—who also had visibly hairy hands and assumed a male flight attendant was indeed a man. How would that make you feel?” she asked.

Next to the burqa-clad man was a male “bodyguard,” reportedly sweating heavily.

That wasn’t the only alarming detail; four Middle Eastern passengers were highlighted, including one in a full-body burqa and another man in a tan suit who was apparently trying to gain access to the cockpit under the guise of attending to his son.

These passengers insisted on immediate departure instead of waiting for food service.

“As if that wasn’t strange enough, just after the news broke about the attacks, those same passengers started questioning the crew,” Wheeler recounted. One asked, “Did they get the White House?”

Eventually, everyone evacuated the aircraft, but about 20 minutes later, a ground staff member noticed someone had returned to the plane. It turned out that the hatch had been reopened.

“What does that imply? Did someone sneak back on to conceal evidence or weapons after everyone left?” Wheeler pondered. “It’s not just a theoretical scenario; weapons have been found on planes at JFK.”

When TMZ attempted to reach out for confirmation, they were met with silence.

“Can you not see this as a potential government cover-up?” Wheeler asked, visibly shocked. “The 9/11 Commission also never interviewed the pilot of that flight.”
