Aaron Rodgers knows what he's looking for in his future team.
Rogers said TMZ Sports The first thing he's looking for is the team that wants him.
The Jets told him the exact opposite when they decided to say goodbye to him during an emotional in-person meeting earlier this month.
Rogers also added that he wanted to be surrounded by talent wherever he is next.
He had some quality players around him with the Jets, but various issues, including an inconsistent offensive line, clouded the Jets' path to success in 2024.
After spending his time in New Jersey last fall, when asked if he would play on the West Coast in the future, Rodgers said “the sun is good.”
Rodgers was linked to two West Coast teams for the Los Angeles Rams if he chose to move on from Matthew Stafford and the Las Vegas Raiders.
The odds for the Rodgers' next team will project to win future Hall of Fame quarterbacks as a three-way tie between those franchises and the Steelers.
Considering that the Rams have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL last season, they could fit that bill as a team ready to win, and even if they are trying to trade the Cooper Cup, I have a star receiver in Pukanakua.
If the Rams choose to undo the band and run Stafford at quarterback, the Steelers will be another potential suitor with a chance to win.
Pittsburgh Safety Dession Elliott previously said in an Instagram comment that Rogers “should leave his ass at his retirement home.”
New photos of Rogers and Elliott's training appeared together, and they looked heartily.
Steelers star receiver George Pickens called Rogers a Dream teammate in the August 2024 clip.
