Ever since Americans began waking up to the reality of our country's illegal immigration problem, politicians, activists, and cable news pundits have tried to pacify the masses with slogans like “immigrants make us stronger” and “illegal immigration is a victimless crime.” While these Orwellian messages may have worked in the past, they are failing badly now as people compare them to their daily experiences and see the country's culture, opportunity, and safety slipping away.
If the past three-plus years have proven anything, it's that uncontrolled mass immigration does not make us stronger, and it is not a victimless crime. Despite the corporate media's eagerness to reframe the crisis, millions of U.S. citizens and legal residents have lost their jobs, property, safety, and even lives as a result of the ruling class's plan to import the problems of world poverty into the United States.
While alternative media outlets have dominated stories of egregious criminal activity by illegal immigrants, little attention has been paid to the impact that adding roughly 10 million foreigners to the U.S. citizenry in just a few years will have on job prospects.

This issue was recently highlighted by a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which found that over the past 12 months, native-born workers lost more than 1.3 million jobs, while foreign-born workers gained more than 1.2 million jobs.

This came as the Biden administration touted modest job gains across the board, ignoring glaring discrepancies in the labor report. No alarm bells were sounded, and no member of the administration vowed to address it. The data confirmed what many suspected: that this White House and many of our other elected leaders strongly prioritize the interests of undocumented immigrants over the American people.
It doesn't take a PhD in economics to see how a surge in illegal immigration is hurting American workers. When the labor pool is smaller, employers have to compete for workers, which drives up wages. When the labor pool is flooded with cheap foreign labor, labor costs fall, allowing employers to pay workers less. It also makes unscrupulous employers more likely to hire and exploit illegal workers.
This isn't just a matter of politicians turning a blind eye to the problem; they're actively taking steps to make it worse, in the name of pandering to potential new voters. New York's Democratic governor, Kathy Hockle, became the first in the nation to do so earlier this year when she announced that her state would allow undocumented immigrants to get government jobs.

To facilitate this, Haukle is relaxing typical requirements that job seekers must meet to get these jobs, such as English proficiency or a high school diploma. A similar effort is underway in Denver, where the city is blatantly violating federal law to hire illegal immigrants and is cutting American government jobs.
These policies also result in large amounts of U.S. dollars leaving the country. According to a 2019 study, on average, legal and illegal immigrants send $150 billion a year back to their home countries untaxed. This is a big part of the economic incentive for illegal immigration, as American wages pay much more in these foreigners’ home countries than they do in the United States.
The real goal of anti-border politicians who push for work permits for illegal immigrants is amnesty: by allowing illegal immigrants to get American jobs, they are ultimately laying the groundwork for legalization, even if the immigrants' asylum applications are denied.
These leaders will argue that it is cruel to deport foreigners who have come to work in America and become part of our communities. Nowhere in this calculation is this impact on the American people as more job competitors arrive across the border every day.

The U.S. economy has been devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic, causing many small business owners to close their businesses and leaving millions of employees unemployed. As America struggles to regain its lost prosperity, the last thing it needs is a constant influx of cheap foreign labor that will increase competition for jobs, drive down wages, and send U.S. currency flowing overseas.
This may benefit big corporations and Wall Street, but it is poison to American families. Unless our elected leaders put the interests of the American people first, we will continue to witness the slow and steady decline of America.
