President Joe Biden took time off from his beach vacation to appear on “The View,” where he was surprisingly asked a question he probably wouldn't want to answer.
“Mr. President, we agree at this table that it was very selfless of you to pass the baton and walk away. There is a recognition that perhaps your hand was forced. , some pointed to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who you have a long relationship with and have accomplished a lot with,” Alyssa Farrar Griffin told the president.
“Did you feel forced? What is your relationship with Speaker Pelosi now?” she then asked.
“My relationship is good,” Biden said, then laughed uncomfortably. “For some reason, I didn't fully believe the claim that there was an overwhelming resistance to running again. I just didn't feel it.”
Biden then told Griffin, “There are people who want me to step back so they have a chance to move forward,” Biden told Griffin, stumbling through the second half of his response.
Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report thinks the answer is interesting, to say the least.
“He basically half-or falsely admits that he didn't want to resign, and then Whoopi pins it on the Democrats who ousted him,” he comments.
And stick it to the Democrats, Whoopi did.
“I don't like the way they're doing it. No one's going to say it out loud, so I'm going to say it out loud. I didn't like the way it was done publicly. We didn't have to hear all the internal strife. So I thought they could have done this another way. I didn't like it. I tell you, you were my vehicle or you die.” told the president.
“Whoopi is basically saying, 'I don't like that we knew about it.' I feel like they probably evicted you and it became public.” ''So Whoopi apparently wants the government, the powerful, the deep state, whatever, the elites to do it all behind the curtain and none of us know about it. '' Rubin says.
