‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 outfits: Costume designer breaks down the best looks

The White Lotus guests certainly haven't shrunk the violets. They also don't have their outfits.

With Season 3 of the HBO hit finally here, a new cast of characters checking in to the prestigious hotel and unpacking a wealth of luxury wardrobes curated by head costume designer Alex Bovado.

“We have a few rules… No jeans [and] The fashion pros who work on all three seasons speak to the six-page style. “[We] Please don't really repeat the clothes. ”

One of the shows I'll do it But do you repeat it? An instant viral moment formula – Beauvard says she is “most supportive” in her character's looks.

“She brought some things that belonged to her mother or grandmother, like a watch or a ring. Costume experts added that Posey was also particularly inspired by Tuckernuck's “Beachy, Preppy” outfit.

After all, although he is based in Thailand this season, Bovard has sourced his work everywhere, from local shops to “old British Ram Shackle seaside town.” [clothing] The warehouse that was shipped… She says.

But if you're inspired by the show's gorgeous aesthetic, you don't need a valuable option in the warehouse to recreate it. (Please ask Bovaird, who recently teamed up with H&M on a collection inspired by “White Lotus.”)

“We all hope to have these… the adventures and unknown mysteries that precede us,” she talks about Dramady's attire charm. “I think there's a special alchemy.”

“White Lotus” is hot in one or more points. “The heat has always been against us, but the actors feel like they're used to it,” Bovard said of filming in a Thai location. “We've always sweated.”

Antidote? “It's all flowing,” she said, noting that they used “a lot” of Australian label Kasaraki on the show.

Whether you're booking a tropical getaway or simply channeling a “White Lotus” vibe in an urban jungle, Bovard recommends investing in a great straw hat. And while she tells us that local wildlife didn't steal accessories from the set – “Lizard Wranglers [were] When we were working” – she couldn't say the same thing about all the cast.

“The actor tries to steal the hat,” she laughs. “We went, 'Where is that hat?' Then we'll see someone wearing it. ”
