The worst rule change in NFL history

Despite opposition from NFL players, owners have officially decided to ban “hip drop” tackles due to player safety concerns.

Starting next season, tackles will result in a 15-yard penalty and an automatic first down.

Jason Whitlock wonders if NFL owners are “deliberately trying to undermine the ability to watch games.”

“This bubble is about to burst at some point,” Whitlock added. Is the game cheating? Is it being manipulated? ”

“I think people are less likely to tune in.”

Steve Kim is not a fan of rule changes, but it’s hard to believe that would prevent him from seeing them.

“You could say we don’t like soccer as much, but Jason, we still love soccer,” Kim says to Whitlock.

“You’re going to watch less NFL,” Whitlock claims. It’s hard to sell. I can’t wait to hear Troy Aikman and all the other broadcasters with real NFL experience start giving warnings to people at 15 yards for dragging players down from behind. ”

“I can’t wait to hear what they’re trying to sell trash,” he continued, adding, “The NFL bubble is going to burst.”
