“The system is flawed,” Malibu City Councilwoman Haylin Conrad said on Friday's broadcast of FOX News Channel's “America Report.” [as] Because there is too much bureaucracy. ” and the city “has all these government agencies that have been telling us what we can and cannot do to be safe.”
“I was impressed by the amount of people and boots on the ground,” said Conrad, who had just come out of a stakeholder meeting.
She added, “There are so many incredible people on the scene.” But “Malibu has been asking for help ever since Woolsey. We needed help.”
Co-host Sandra Smith then interjected and asked: Who will deny you the help and provision you have asked for? ”
Conrad replied: “Honestly, this is a cluster. I don't know and I'm not blaming you because I think it's a big problem that's happening across the country.
