This week, Teresa Nist shared some quite disturbing allegations about her ex-husband, Jerry Turner, revealing that he once threatened to “cut up” her body during their short-lived relationship. She recounted the incident while discussing her experiences on the “Dear Shandy” podcast, mentioning a walk they took around Pretty Lake.

Nist recalled Turner pointing towards a cabin and ominously stating that was where he would hide her body after killing her. “He wasn’t laughing,” she commented, highlighting the dark nature of his utterance. She added, “You didn’t do me any favors by marrying a woman you didn’t want to marry.” Turner himself acknowledged in the memoir that he had rushed into the wedding, later realizing it was a mistake that led to resentment between them.

Turner openly admitted the breakdown of their marriage happened surprisingly fast, marking the period as a “very dark place” for him. He reflected on how he hurt both Nist and his own family, stating, “I realized that my marriage was over. It was a slow march towards the end.”
